I was thinking long and hard... will i write this one in English or Estonian.. then i figured that now its way easier to talk to people at home and besides.. they already know pretty much what life in Ireland for me is about...
So here it is.. for right now it will be in English. Anyway long story short, i arrived from Vancouver on 17th of March (St. Patrick's Day) - perfect timing right?
Thanks to my wonderful friends again, i have place to stay without paying rent - my dear partner in crime - Natasha. And Annika has been amazing, she picked me up from the airport, drove me to Natasha's place and has done so much for me.
Now i need to get a job and place until that time. I went to one of the shopping Centres near by and i also have send many cv-s online.. lets hope that new week, will bring some good news. We have done some pretty good long walks with Natasha.. one was just an 1,5.. then we had one 3,5 hour walk yesterday.. City Centre is also about 30-40 min walk away (one way)
I also have been taken bus from Natasha's place to Annika's ( one bus goes from here to there - its about an hour long bus trip.. yet again Natasha lives in North Dublin near Phoenix park and Annika lives in South Dublin - so i suppose i'm lucky enough to use just one bus.
Annika has been taken me to different places, looking for job with me etc.. Its amazing to have so helpful friends. Lucky me.. Today we went to Blackrock and later to Powerscourt Waterfalls. Places i have not been and its really nice to go - specially now when i have no job yet and Annika neither. She should study and i should look more jobs but over the weekends no new ads really go up, so i had an excuse and i was selfish enough to make her spend her Sunday with me.
I still struggle with time difference and proper all night sleep.. but i already do wake up more easily in the morning and i no longer stay awake til 5.30 am as i did for few nights.
I am slowly but surely starting to inform people in Ireland too that i am actually now here... many of them are kind of disbelief... i know its been like 4 years..
If Canada was my dream, then Dublin never was.. however, more time i am here.. the more i am liking it. I also realize how much there is to appreciate in here..
It is so close to Estonia and its just so familiar and things i know and also like. Oh and you just got to love Penneys... basic stuff you can get so cheap. Its just so handy.
Well lets hope that i get job asap and then i can start seeing more friends all over Europe and of course my dear family back in Estonia. Its good to be back actually.
